SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
12:00 pm - Registration opens for walkers & Family friendly activities begin
1:15 pm – Ceremony & Walk starts
ENTRANCE: Enter from 8th and Lindsey Street
PARKING: At Mill Race Center with overflow at Mill Race Park
ROUTE: The route is a scenic 2.6 mile walk through Columbus. Participants may choose to walk the 2.6 mile route or walk the 1 mile option within Mill Race Park
DOGS: Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
WATER STATION: Will be provided and set-up on route
WEATHER: The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is an all-weather event. We walk rain or shine, so please come prepared.
**VERY IMPORTANT**– Pre-registration for the Walk ends at 12 pm on Friday, September 30th. If your teammates are not registered on-line by this time, they will need to fill out a registration form at the Walk. Save time and have them register early!
HAVE DONATIONS TO TURN IN? Join us on Bank Day and get all of your offline donations turned in. We will give you wristbands for your team and any t-shirts you earned so you don’t have to wait in line at the Walk! Join us anytime September 27th from 12 pm – 6 pm at the Mill Race Center (900 Lindsey Street, 47201) and we will get you Walk Ready!
