Every 69 seconds someone is diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Young, old, rich, poor...father, mother, sister, brother, grandmother, grandfather, friend... Alzheimer's knows no boundaries, it has no rhyme or reason. It steals the mind, and then the body.
There is NO Prevention, NO Sowing It Down, and NO CURE.
There is no hearing, that you have a slim chance of survival. There is no treatment, no drug therapy that may put it in remission. There is no surgery that may give you another 5 years.
There is absolutely NOTHING you can do today to help prevent Alzheimer's. Nothing.
I've been affected by this disease. My family and friends have been affected many times over. If you have not been touched by Alzheimer's yet, you will be.
Make a difference...your donation can reach someone who is scared because they keep forgetting things...or someone who is in pain watching their loved one slowly slip away.
There is support and there is help. If you've been touched by Alzheimer's, or any memory impairment, or if you want to make a difference for so many who face this horrific disease, come join us at the Walk To End Alzheimer's. We will support you, and we are making a difference!
I'm walking to help reclaim the future for millions. By participating in the 2013 Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care and support.
I need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources right here in our own community and in communities nationwide.
Thank you for joining our movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here.
