Join our team for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer's disease. Together, we can advance research to treat and prevent Alzheimer's, and provide programs to improve the lives of millions of affected Americans.
Dooley's Beef N Brew House was started in 1968 by Alex G Dooley. It was located at 8th and Olive downtown St Louis and was one of the oldest restaurants in St Louis when it closed it's doors in 2008 due to renovations to the building. In October of 2011 Sean M Dooley reopened the family restaurant with the close guidance and approval of Alex Dooley at 601 N Grand next door to the Fox Theatre. In the spring of 2012 it was noticed that there was some brain deficits being noticed in Alex's behavior. After numerous tests Alex was diagnosed with Alzheimer's with a slight form of Dementia. Alex has been fighting an uphill battle, but with the help of the Alzheimer's Association, our family has been able to get the guidance needed to care for Alex in a time when he can no longer care for himself. Dooley's Beef N Brew House is proud to stand behind the Alzheimer's Association and the Walk to End Alzheimer's as we try to make the disease of Alzheimer's recognized in a more public forum.
