We are walking in honor of all those members, past & present, who have been in the Alzheimer's Norwalk Support Group. The group meets every Tuesday at 11am in the 1st Congregational Church on the Green in Norwalk. The Group was formed by Doris McKee and the walk team is named for her. Doris' husband had Alzheimer's and she founded the support group after he passed away and has continued to be an active participant in the Alzheimer's Association's many functions. She encouraged me to help her form a walk team several years ago & I have been it's chief fund raiser since then. So please join our team, make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association and come out to walk at Calf Pasture Beach on Sunday, September 29, 2013.
