Welcome to the Janies Angels Team Page

One chilly afternoon in January of 2003, in a family meeting room at the Dorothy Adler Center at Yale, my mothers - and our whole familys - world changed forever.  As the words were let loose into the room, I saw my mother completely shut down in my peripheral vision as I intently listened as the Doctor delivered the sobering news.  It was more than just a little forgetfulness.  It was not her imagination that things were off.   Yes,  she had dementia.  That afternoon our journey into a brand new world began.

Every October, we walk in the MOVE to End Alzheimer's.

We walk because we need to make people aware of this horrible disease.

We walk in support of our loved ones who are afflicted.

We walk, because we can.

We walk, in Memory of  Mom who left us May 22, 2012.
