Here we go again. I've signed up another time to do the Ride To End Alzheimer's.
I will be riding my bicycle over 250 miles in mid July to raise awareness and money for Alzheimer's.
I will be 71 during this years event and I'm hoping this old man still has the legs, along with heart and lungs to make it.
I am doing this ride because I want to help find a cure for the almost 7 million Americans living with this disease, and over 11 million family members and other unpaid caregivers who provide for them.
This disease has taken a direct toll on members of my family as well as friends and neighbors. I lost my Grandfather in the early 1980’s. Then, about 20 years later I lost an Aunt and an Uncle. Just before covid, I lost another Aunt, the last of my parents generation. Since then I lost a friend and neighbor. Finding a cure is something that has become increasingly important to me.
Please consider making a donation to Alzheimer's to help this cause. You can scan the QR code, or go to my link http://act.alz.org/goto/mikecullen. All donations go to benefit Alzheimer’s research. I thank you for your support.
I currently have scheduled a couple of bingo nights as part of my fundraising efforts. Please come join us on Thursday May16th at Seminar Brewing for some fun, food and prizes. Local Florence business owners have been very generous in supporting this cause.
Stayed tuned for updates and some additional fun fundraising events.
Thank you for donating and supporting this cause!
