Our Team Story
This was our team for The Longest Day, a day that’s all about love for those affected by Alzheimer's disease. On June 21, we did what we love to do - raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
We are honoring Jerry's Mom, Kathryn Watson, and Mitzie's Mom, Mildred Roady. Our team is made up of Kathryn's kids and their spouses and their kids and their spouses, and then their kids. We are a big family!!
Kathryn was an amazing Mom, Meemaw, wife, and friend. She had Alzheimer's for many years and passed in October of 2016. We still miss her so much and now we are honoring her life.
Mildred (we all call her Nuni) is living with us and she has been diagnosed with Dementia. She lives with us and Mitzie takes care of her needs on a daily basis. We are honoring her as well!
We need your help in raising awareness of Alzheimer's and the progress being made to find a cure! Thanks so much if you donated, and if you haven't, please consider donating to honor Kathryn and Mildred! We had an awesome time bowling at Alley Cats in Hurst and they were an awesome host for our fun event!
