Our Team Story
The Canterfield of Franklin Family is shining a light on the darkness of Alzheimer's on Friday, June 21st.
Today, over 35 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 5.8 million Americans! In the U.S. alone, more than 15 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia. We must take action now, or these numbers will continue to rise. By the end of 2019, it will have cost our nation over $290 billion. Alzheimer's is an urgent public health issue...an epidemic. One that's truly underestimated. To quote Dr. David Satcher, former US Surgeon General and former Centers for Disease Control & Prevention Director, "Alzheimer's is the most under-recognized threat to public health in the 21st century."
We need your support! Please join our team and join us at Canterfield of Franklin on Friday, June 21st from 5 pm to 7 pm for a Cookout for a Cure! Together, we will raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's care, support, and research. The strength of our light will outshine the darkness of Alzheimer’s
