The LONGEST RIDE take’s place Saturday, June 22 starting and ending at Anderson Point Park, 20 Anderson Point Dr., Raleigh, NC 27610. The ride will cover the Neuse River Greenway Trail from Horseshoe Farm Park, 2900 Horse Shoe Farm Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587 to Sam's Branch Greenway Trail Head at 922 North O'Neil Street, Clayton NC.
This is a family fun ride with two distances of 30 or 54 miles. We will provide refreshments and SAG support at rest stops along the trail. The event will start at 8:00 AM and end at 2:00 PM. We will have three rest stops for event riders only. However, the trail will be open for other riders, runners, walkers, and sightseeing.
At the end of the day, TEAM LONG RIDERS and all the volunteers will gather for free food and a special awards ceremony at the Anderson Point Park Shelter. All riders who complete the 30 and 54 miles will get a medal to honor their effort. All riders will be honored at this celebration.
