Our Team Story
As Elder Care Consultants with Vesta Senior Network, we are first hand witnesses to the stress that caring for someone with Alzheimer's creates.
On The Longest Day, June 21, 2018, we want to recognize not only those suffering with this horrible disease, but we want to let caregivers know that we honor and respect their roles. We want to take this day to bring awareness to their struggles and raise funds that will not only help the Alzheimer's Association #ENDALZ, but also provide support and services for caregivers until we realize a world without Alzheimer's.
This will be our 3rd year participating in The Longest Day fundraiser to #ENDALZ. In the past 2 years, we have raised over $8,000. This year, our goal is to raise $10,000!!! We need you to help us make that goal!
We will participate in a day of Strength and Endurance in recognition of the strength and endurance caregivers muster on the longest day of the year, as well as every day of the year. This year, we are offering our teammates the opportunity to "Choose Your Adventure." We will be offering an early morning boot camp class, a 25-mile bike ride, a round of golf, a round of trap shooting, and our Grand Finale with great raffle items at Leff's Lucky Town in Wauwatosa where we all come back together as a team. Teammates will be able to participate in one activity, or a combination of several. You can ask your friends and families to support you through your very own donor page.
We know that the best way to meet our $10,000 fundraising goal is to get more people involved. We hope one of these great activities is a good fit for you.
