African Americans are two times more likely to develop late-onset of Alzheimer's than their Caucasian counter-parts. Earlier detection and proper disease management are the key. Please come out support this event and learn the early warnings signs. Come out make a donation, play a game of kickball and learn the steps to keep brains healthier as people age.
Today, over 35 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 5 million Americans. In the U.S. alone, more than 15 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia. We must take action now, or these numbers will continue to rise.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease that they are not alone. Please make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease.
