is participating to honor:
Go Big Red! This is Todd and Roger here. The Longest Day is a year round event now. Some people have a hard time taking June 21st and many people are taking that day to celebrate the year of fund raising rather than doing something from sunrise to sunset. When you donate to the Alzheimer's Association 50% goes to local community and the other 50% goes to research to get rid of this horrid disease.
Todd: So here is the challenge Cornhuskers....to see if the Los Angeles area or the San Francisco/Reno area or The Cornhusker State can raise the most money. I am doing my benefit in Nebraska on October 14th in Lincoln and October 23rd in Omaha. More info to come on here.
On June 21, I'm doing what I love to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. I’m participating in The Longest Day, a fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Today, over 35 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 5 million Americans. In the U.S. alone, more than 15 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia. We must take action now, or these numbers will continue to rise.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease that they are not alone. Please make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease. Thank you!
