is participating to honor:
On June 23, we're once again participating in The Longest Day event benefiting the Alzheimer's Association. This event honors the strength, passion and endurance of those facing Alzheimer's disease. From sunrise to sunset, Mark and I will complete an activity of our choosing to raise awareness and funds for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
We had such a great time the last year 3 years ,we are going to continue the fun this year by honoring my mom who passed away 11 years ago by doing what she would have LOVED!! We are going to travel (wearing our purple Longest Day attire) to as many Diner's, Drive-In's and Dives as possible to honor her and others who faced this devastating disease! We will once again document our journey to share with you in pictures on social media. The picture on this page is from one of our stops.
Today, over 35 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 5 million Americans. In the United States alone, more than 15 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia. And these numbers will only continue to rise unless we take action.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease they are not alone. Please consider making a donation to support our journey by helping the Alzheimer's Association advance research and provide care and support to those facing the disease today. REMEMBER NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL AS EVERY DOLLAR HELPS THE CAUSE!!
Thank you in advance for your support!
