Gaming to End ALZ
is participating to honor:
My Papa passed from Alzheimer's in 2010. Papa was the most caring, comical, and stubborn man ever. He was my best friend growing up. Any where Papa was going, I was going. Mostly to baseball games since he was a local umpire but he would always take me to Atlanta Braves games. Papa bought me my first PC gaming rig even though he wanted me to only play baseball (my first passion). Ever since I've been a gamer.
On June 21, I'm doing what I love to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. I’m participating in The Longest Day, a fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Please join me on twitch.tv/treyzerr as I stream 24 hours to help raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association!
Today, over 35 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 5 million Americans. In the U.S. alone, more than 15 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia. We must take action now, or these numbers will continue to rise.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease that they are not alone. Please make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease. Thank you!
