is participating to honor:
her mother, Barbara
From the shortest day, December 21 until the longest, June 21, 2018, I will be reading! I'm doing what I love to honor my mother, Barbara and all those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. I’m participating in The Longest Day, a fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. I will keep you up to date with the books I have going, will make suggestions to you as to a "must read" or "don't read". I commute to work and listen to books on Audible.com. I only ask you to donate what you can, when you can as I honor Barbara and my organization. Our vision is a world without Alzheimer's. You can also join my team and spread your book reads through social media and take donations to support the cause.
Today, over 35 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 5 million Americans. In the U.S. alone, more than 15 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia. We must take action now, or these numbers will continue to rise.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease that they are not alone. Please make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease. Thank you!
