is participating to honor:
all those facing Alzheimer's
Dear Family and Friends,
You all may know of our direct connection to the impact of Alzheimer's and you may know of the challenges of funding to discover treatment and prevention options.Over 5 million Americans, including my beautiful bride, are living with this disease.
Formed in 1980, the Alzheimer's Association advances research to end Alzheimer's and dementia while enhancing care for those living with the disease. June is Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month and one means of supporting their work is on June 21st and called "The Longest Day". While there are organized fundraising events on that date individual's are encouraged to develop their own personal ways to support and fund-raise.
I have decided to try and raise $1,500 thru our donations by biking 100 miles on June 21st. I'll ride the Capital Trail that runs from Richmond to Jamestown and back, a total of 106 miles.
Please let me know if you can help with a donation. Any and every amount will be so much appreciated.
Happy and honored to ride all or any of the distance with any of you'all that can find the time to join me.
Hope to hear from you:)
