Riding for Alzheimer's
hitting the road
I'm participating in The Longest Day to show my love for all those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. On June 21, I am joining others around the world and doing what I love to honor people living with Alzheimer's, their caregivers, and those lost to the disease, while raising funds and awareness to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Today, an estimated 47 million people across the world are living with dementia. This number is set to skyrocket to 75 million by 2030. In the United States alone, more than 15 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia. These numbers will only continue to rise unless we take action.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease they are not alone.
On June 23, 2018 I along with others are putting on a event to raise money for The Longest Day. It is Called Riding For Alzheimer's. First is a Motorcycle and Car ride, followed with a Car and Motorcycle Show. We will start and stop at Whiskey Ranch Bar and Grill, W9002 WI-11, Delavan, WI. Registration begins at 9 AM for the Ride and at 1 PM for the Car and Bike Show. All Afternoon during the Car/bike show there will be raffles, food, Live Music, and fun. Come out to participate or to see the show. This should be a fun filled day for a good cause. Alzheimer's is close to our hearts and that is why we find it such a worthy cause to support. All money raised will be donated through this registered event. If you can't make the event consider making a donation. Thank You for your support
