Join our team for The Longest Day, a day that’s all about love for all those affected by Alzheimer's disease. On June 21, we’ll do what we love to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Please join us as a participant in the Alzheimer's Association Longest Day Swim. Powel Crosley YMCA has generously provided a lane to be used by for lap swimming from Sunrise  to Sunset.

Powel Crosley YMCA is also providing a guest membership for the day to participants that do not have a YMCA membership. The goal is to allow swimmers to enjoy their sport during the longest day of the year while raising awareness of and fundraising for the Alzheimer's Association.

The swimming will start at Sunrise , 6:12AM,  and continue until   Sunset, 9:07 PM . Our goal is to have one or more swimmers in the water at all times. We plan to end the day with an hour of relays.  After sunset many participants will be gathering at the Lucky Turtle, 8621 Winton Road for fellowship and adult beverages.

We are using Sign Up Genius to track participants for each 30 minute time slot . That website has openings for 4 swimmers each hour, please join us even if we already have 4 swimmers for your preferred time .

We look forward to seeing you on June 21, 2017

Today, over 35 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 5 million Americans. In the United States alone, more than 15 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia. And these numbers will only continue to rise unless we take action.

Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease they are not alone. Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research and provide care and support to those facing the disease today.
