Welcome to My Personal Page
Today, over 35 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 5 million Americans. In the United States alone, more than 15 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia. And these numbers will only continue to rise unless we take action.
In 2010 my mom was diagnosed with dementia. It's been four years since I heard the diagnosis, and it's still just as hard to hear today as it was then. On June 21st, I will be participating in The Longest Day event for the second year in honor of my mom, in support of my dad (as her primary caregiver), and with the hope that the money we raise will get us closer to a cure and will prevent another family from having to deal with this devastating disease. Last year my team raised over $45,000 for the Alzheimer's Association and I hope with your help we can do it again!
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease they are not alone. Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research and provide care and support to those facing the disease today.
**Join us for the 2nd Annual Longest Day Fishing Tournament out of Nauset Marine East. If you'd like to enter the fishing tournament + join the BBQ please donate $300. If you will just be joining us for the BBQ please donate $75.**
