Teri and Bill Corrigan
Welcome to My Personal Page
In loving memory of my husband Bill, I'm participating in The Longest Day to show my love for all those affected by Alzheimer’s disease, in particular, our beloved Son in Law (and one of Bill's dearest friends) Steve Johanson who is bravely living with Younger Onset Alzheimer's. I am joining others around the world and doing what I love to honor people living with Alzheimer's, their caregivers, and those lost to the disease, while raising funds and awareness to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Today, an estimated 47 million people across the world are living with dementia. This number is set to skyrocket to 75 million by 2030. In the United States alone, more than 15 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia. These numbers will only continue to rise unless we take action.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease they are not alone. Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s and provide care and support to those facing the disease today.
Bill cherished his memories of love and life with his family and friends, it was his wish that everyone's memories will be preserved! Please join me as I honor Bill's passion and committment to a day when Alzheimer's is just a memory!
Facebook may ask you to "add a donate button" to your Facebook post. Donations raised through the Facebook button go to the Alzheimer's Association, but they do not get added to your fundraising total for The Longest Day. Rather than use the button, please direct donors to your page on The Longest Day website by including the URL to your personal The Longest Day page in your post. If donations have already been made through the Facebook donate button, please contact us to request credit for them.
