About Blondes vs. Brunettes

The Blondes vs. Brunettes (BvB) event concept is organized around a flag football game in which the two participating teams are divided based on the age-old rivalry between blondes and brunettes.

A planning committee leads the organization of the BvB game and all wrap-around fundraising events. This committee has the support of the local Alzheimer's Association chapter in coordination and organization. Team captains are assigned for Team Blonde and Team Brunette to recruit and engage players. Coaches, announcers and other volunteers are also recruited to round out the key roles of the BvB game.

The funds raised through BvB benefit the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. We strive to:

  • Help families across the country by continuing to provide and enhance programs focusing on education and support.
  • Advance critical research studies into methods of treatment, prevention and ultimately, a cure.
  • Speak up for the needs and rights of those facing Alzheimer’s through our public policy initiatives.

Take the first step today by registering to play or volunteer. Once you register, you will have access to a wide range of tools and support through your Participant Center, ensuring a rewarding experience that will help you succeed in the fight to end Alzheimer’s!
