2024 Dancing Stars of Coastal Georgia

Why am I putting on my dancing shoes and putting myself "out there" and perhaps looking a little silly? The answer is simple. All the millions of people who are now fighting Alzheimer's disease and their brave families who are tirelessly supporting them need OUR help.  My goal is to not only raise money to help find a cure but to also raise awareness about the great work of the Alzheimer's Assocation.

When I started this campaign, I was dancing in honor of two of my dear friends who both had their moms diagnosed with this disease.  My best childhood friend, Jill Ferm Sear, lost her mom to Alzheimer's a few years ago. My other good friend, Susan Ayres Watson, is currently facing this illness with her mother, Nancy. And in the last month, I've had another good friend learn that her mother is in the early stages of this diagnosis. 

So, in honor of my friends, and ALL of the other family members who are caring for their mom or dad with Alzheimer's, I am dancing for YOU! But I can't do this alone! I need your support to make a difference. Please consider making a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's.
