Remelie “Remie” Heide is a 16 year old junior at Northside High School in Warner Robins. At Northside, Remie is an honor roll student and is heavily involved in Northside’s award winning theatre program. She is vice-president of Thespian Troupe 2892, and was awarded Region 1AAAAAA Best Actress in 2022 and 2023. She is a 2023 Governor’s Honors Nominee in Theatre and part of 2023-2024 Georgia Thespian’s All State Theatre. Remie has been involved of Theatre Macon’s Youth Artist’s Company for several years, you may have seen her onstage recently in “The Prom.” She studies voice with Marie Roberts at Mercer University and was the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Vocal Competition Upper High School Classical 1st Place winner, and 4th Place Musical Theatre winner. In 2021, Remie and her sister Michaela Tignor created the Miss Forget Me Not Pageant to help raise funds and awareness about Alzheimer’s and other dementia. They have hosted three pageants and donated over $29,000 to the Alzheimer’s Association and the Sanctuary Respite Ministry. When she is not at school or rehearsal, Remie enjoys singing, dancing, working out, cooking and her huge dog, two cats and 2 guinea pigs. |
