Jean and Tom are excited to participate in this year’s Memory Ball. Last year they attended for the first time and knew it was a cause they wanted to support. The Wrights have been living in Frederick County for 25 years. Tom has Central New Jersey roots and Jean is from Pittsburgh. They met at college in Scranton, Pennsylvania where Jean enjoyed her disco dancing days and Tom preferred playing his guitar for local theatre productions. They have two grown children, Matt and Carolyn. Their inspiring daughter swing dances for fun in Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
Jean works as an account executive for Frederick Magazine and is vice president of the Women’s Business Network. Tom is employed by Hewlett Packard Enterprises as a solution architect manager and enjoys playing bass guitar with the St. Timothy Church adult contemporary choir. Tom lost his father to Alzheimer’s in 2008 and both will be dancing in his memory.
