Fundraising Honor Roll

Rich Robertson has been the owner of Computer Enhancement Systems in Frederick for over 23 years. He is also a former law enforcement officer and currently holds a securities license.  Rich’s son attends the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT.  Rich spends most weekends out of town watching his son play football throughout the east coast.  He also enjoys riding his Harley through the mountains of West Virginia.  Rich is a Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Frederick and is also on the board of the Salvation Army.  He feels that by doing God’s will and giving back to help others is the key to a balanced and fulfilling life.  Don’t bet against Rich and his partner when it comes to winning the Mirror Ball Trophy, as he is also an avid poker player and wins most of the time!   Rich is very excited to have this opportunity to support the Alzheimer’s Association and help raise money to help defeat this terrible disease.

Tammy Pearrell is looking forward to participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Ball this year.  The prospect of embarking on this unfamiliar journey while meeting new people is extremely exciting to her.  The mother-in-law of one of Tammy’s long time co-workers suffered with Alzheimer’s disease.  While working together Tammy witnessed how Alzheimer’s disease affects not only the individual diagnosed but also their family and loved ones.  The care that this family had to give and the changes that they made to their lives really sparked an interest for Tammy to learn more about Alzheimer’s disease.

For the past 10 years Tammy has enjoyed working for Frederick County Bank.  She also works with the Great Frederick Fair and S.A. Little & Co. Fine Furniture.  When she isn’t working, Tammy enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren as well as attending community events with her longtime companion Eric Smothers.  Driving around the state and taking in the natural beauty is one of Tammy’s favorite things to do.
