Casey Friske and Jennifer Bell are honored to be participating in this year’s Memory Ball. Casey and Jennifer are ready to put their dancing skills to the test and “cut a rug” for a great cause.
Casey is a podiatrist with Foot and Ankle Specialists of the Mid-Atlantic in Clarksville, Maryland. He was a pole vaulter at the University of Indiana and was a competitive gymnast in his younger years. He is praying that the coordination he had then, combined with having fun will bring home the mirror ball trophy.
Jennifer is also a podiatrist with Foot and Ankle Specialists of the Mid-Atlantic and works in Frederick, Maryland. She is currently the Chief of Podiatry at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Jennifer was a dancer, cheerleader and competitive gymnast growing up. She and Casey are hoping to use their previous agility to their advantage.
Jennifer’s great-grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease when she was in high school. It was difficult for her to see such a rapid decline in a family member she cared for deeply and had a special relationship with. Both Casey and Jennifer are keeping her memory alive and at the forefront during this amazing event.
In their free time, Casey and Jennifer love to spend time with their three dogs, as well as with their friends and family. With their passion for feet and each other, they hope to help raise awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association by participating in the Memory Ball.
