The Memory Ball Dancing Stars is a signature fundraising event for the Alzheimer’s Association. This event features several prominent members of the Baltimore community who are known for their leadership and commitment to the cause. These Dancing Stars compete for the coveted Mirror Ball trophy by asking for “votes” (one dollar=one vote) in an effort to raise much-needed funds for the Alzheimer’s Association. The Dancing Stars will perform a dance to dazzle and delight more than 700 guests in attendance, and the couple that receives the most “votes” will be awarded the Mirror Ball Trophy.
About the Alzheimer’s Association
The Alzheimer’s Association is the world’s leading health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research. For more than 30 years, we have provided reliable information, education and support for people with dementia and their families; increased funding for dementia research; and influenced changes in public policy.
As a nationwide network of chapters, the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Maryland provides help and hope to people with dementia throughout Maryland. We connect them, their families and caregivers with our 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900); online resources and tools (alz.org); education programs; support groups; safety services; training and resources for professionals; clinical trials; and advocacy on the federal, state and local levels.
