I moved to Augusta 1999. Originally from the Atlanta metro area, born in Atlanta on a snowy November day. True GA peach (always lived in GA). Youngest of 6 children (3 brothers and 2 sisters), large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. I have one perfect daughter, Briana Ashe (21), who is in her last semester at Mercer University.

I built a successful 16 year real estate career with Blanchard and Calhoun Real Estate Company and left in 2015 to join the Ivey Homes team as their Sales and Marketing Director. In this position I am changed with developing a successful sales team, agent training and marketing and PR for Ivey’s various communities and the company. I am a lifelong learner, while I did not attend college, I have learned every skill that serves me today by my love of reading and by the trial and error method.  You will always find a podcast, webinar and a new book queued up on my calendar and iPad.

My hobbies are reading, kayaking, traveling, being kind to others. I’m a great dancer…. in my mind, but no dance experience.

As I learn more and more about the disease, I can see that I am lucky to not have had a personal connection with Alzheimer’s disease. Realizing this is scary, because that means my chance of being touch by this disease in my lifetime is high. It could be myself or a friend or family member that is affected. That is enough for me to want to do my part to build awareness and raise money for Alzheimer’s disease by participating in Dancing Stars of Augusta 2017.

Alzheimer’s disease will effect you and me on some level, the statistics say as much. Join my effort to raise money for a cure and build awareness for this dreaded disease. A disease that becomes a slow thief, robbing people and their families of memories and time together. I ask for your donation, no amount is too small. Thank you for your support!
