Christine Senn, PhD hails from Los Angeles, where she started her career in television, motion pictures, and then commercial real estate. She’s sure she somehow (maybe) used her Masters degrees in Advertising and Public Relations but eventually left to pursue something she felt more passionate about – helping people. She studied obsessive-compulsive disorder and counseled patients with eating disorders in Montreal while earning a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology. But it was while pursuing her Ph.D. that she fell in love with clinical research after working in pediatric oncology at the University of Vermont.
Today she serves as Chief Operations Officer at IACT Health, a multi-specialty research organization with clinical sites throughout the Southeast US. Truly believing that medical research saves lives and improves quality of life, she has participated in 2 clinical trials herself. A self-described workaholic – because she loves what she does! – Dr. Senn always makes time to do something utterly novel at least monthly. Guess what that novel experience is for April 2019….
