Six ladies from Modern Luxury will be competing in Battle for the Brain to help reclaim the future for millions. The group is led by Ella Gentry Vance, Director of Marketing & Events, Modern Luxury Sales Represntatives; Kendra Anderson, Dakota Beggs-Rey, Ashley Marler, Sarah Busby & Marketing & Events Manager; Lacee Watkins! By participating in this event, they are committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care and support.

"Preparing for this event has opened my eyes to more than I could have ever imagined. The last few months have shown me the importance of coming together as a team, and working together towards the ultimate goal, which is to raise money & awareness for Alzheimers. There are many charitable people here in Atlanta, who work to make the city a better place. I am proud and honored to be a part of such an incredible community."
-- Ella Gentry Vance, Director of Marketing & Events

"Having the privilege to work with so many of our non-profit partners, I strongly value giving back and being part of something that is bigger then yourself. We all have a responsibility to serve and help those in need. If I can play a role in saving or improving just one life, it's all worth it!"
-- Kendra Anderson, Modern Luxury Senior Account Executive

"Being a part of this charity event is special to me for many reasons. My Great-Grandmother on my Mom's side (Nanny) battled this horrible disease until she passed. It brings a sense of peace to play a part in bringing awareness to such a devastating disease. It has been a great bonding experience for myself with our Modern Luxury team as we all are tied to this cause in some way. As a (somewhat) new Atlantan, I have enjoyed being able to get involved in the community and give back to something larger than myself."
-- Sarah Busby, Modern Luxury Senior Account Executive

"The Alzheimer's association holds a special place in my heart after loosing my grandma to this terrible disease. It was very hard growing up not having a grandma and it was even harder watching my mom loose her mom at a young age. It is my hope to raise awareness for such a special charity & cause. I am also so grateful to be apart of such a wonderful team that supports me. I can't wait to battle it out with such a wonderful group of women and raise awareness for a cause that is close to my heart."
-- Ashley Marler, JEZEBEL Account Executive

"Honored and humbled to be apart  of the Modern Luxury team as we raise funds and awareness for a disease that hits home to me and my family. During my freshman year of college my best friend, role model and extremely strong grandmother was diagnosed with a form of Alzheimers. This horrible disease slowly took a person that was so loved by so many, away to a dark place of confusion, sadness and anger. My senior year of college she passed. Gram, you will always be with me!"
-- Lacee Watkins, Marketing & Events Manager

"I am so honored to be participating in this event to help raise awareness for Alzheimers. I love getting involved in the community and giving back in any way I can. This charity event has given me and others of the Mod Squad, the opportunity to come together and bond over an important cause! I am looking forward to battling it out with some of my favorite gals, and supporting all of those who have been affected by this terrible disease."
-- Dakota Beggs-Rey, Modern Luxury Account Executive

Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.

Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.

Thank you for joining our movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here. #ENDALZ #MODSQUAD
