Fundraising Honor Roll

Neil Clements moved to Thomasville in 1982 from Washington England at the age of 14.  He graduated from Thomasville High in 1985, and shortly afterwards joined the US Army as a combat engineer.  He served three years stationed at Fort Ord California and Camp Castle Korea.  Upon graduation from Georgia Southern University in 1993, Neil moved back to Thomasville.  Neil later attended Thomas University, receiving a MBA in Management in 2000, and then a Specialists degree in Instructional Design from Valdosta State University in 2010.  Neil currently works as the Program Chair for the Business Management Program at Southern Regional Technical College where he has worked for the past six and a half years.  Neil is a member of several advisory boards, and in 2014 was nominated for Technical College Teacher of the Year, and was chosen as the Thomas University Alumni of the Year for 2015.

In addition to his dancing prowess, Neil is a joyful follower of the art of zymurgy, where he has had moderate success in following the craft.  He claims that he has created several very tasty creations and has every intention of developing this pasion into a more active hobby.  Neil also has an interest in woodworking and printing.  He recently started printing tee shirts as a hobby and has printed several shirts for friends, family and students.  Neil along with his amazing partner Glenda won the People's Choice Award in the Thomasville Dancing with the Stars in February 2016. Neil's grandmother Dora Clements suffered for many years with Alzheimer's prior to her death, and this is why he is dancing for this amazing cause.

Neil has two children Jensen Clements, a senior at the Scolars Academy in Thomasville, and Fisher Clements, currently in the 6th grade at Thomas County Middle School.  He is very proud of both of them and enjoys spending time with them.
