Connie was born and raised in Columbus, GA the youngest daughter of Leon and Betty Cartledge.

She attended Britt David Elementary, Arnold Junior High and graduated from Columbus High School.

Connie began work in the Credit Card Division at CB&T while working on her undergraduate degree in Computer Science.  She discontinued her studies later as her travel with work became critical.

Today, Connie is one of the Executive VP's at TSYS responsible for boarding New Clients and Products to TSYS.

Connie was recognized by the National Diversity Counsel as one of Georgia’s Most Powerful and Influential Women for 2010 & 2011. She also chaired the Business Advisory Counsel for Georgia Gwinnett College 2012 – 2015 and is currently serving on the Foundation Finance and Audit Committee.

Connie is married to Danny, a retired banker.  They have two daughters.  Their oldest, Alexis is Director of the Stroke Program at St. Francis Hospital.  She is married to William Thomas and together they have 2 children, Nolan – 4 and Stella – 8 weeks.  Madelyn, the youngest daughter is pursuing her Masters at Middle Tennessee State College in Equine Business Management.

Connie enjoys antiquing, shopping and decorating, but her true love is doing those three things for Halloween each year.

“I truly have “2 left feet” as evidenced with a number of falls and broken ankles.  I have always lacked that “natural rhythm and grace” I see in those who can dance.  So my partner, Adam will need a sense of humor and patience.

I have friends with family members affected by Alzheimer’s.  I believe this disease has to be the most horrendous of all diseases that destroy a functional life.  While other diseases may ravish the body, Alzheimer’s destroys the mind.  In doing so, their relationships with their loved ones are destroyed with their behavior.

To have some financial influence in finding a cure will reward each of us knowing we can and will make a difference.  The broken hearts of loved ones everywhere relish the thought of prevention and treatment.  Please stand with Adam and I in their cause.
