I grew up in Dalton, Georgia and I just returned to this great city after living in Ohio and Atlanta, Georgia for over 15 years. I am an attorney practicing law at Carlock, Copeland & Stair, LLP. When my law firm agreed to open an office in Chattanooga, Tennessee, I jumped at the chance to get back to my roots.
With a degree in psychology, my first job out of college was at a hospital in Athens, Georgia working as a mental health assistant. Many of the patients were afflicted with Alzheimer’s. On a day-to-day basis I saw the toll this disease took on the patients, families and caregivers. I learned quickly that this disease does not discriminate as it affects all from many walks of life.
Promising new treatments for Alzheimer’s are being discovered and I want to be a part of bringing this disease to an end. The Alzheimer’s Association is dedicated to finding a cure. Please help me in funding this organization to BEAT ALZHEIMER’S.
Please vote for me and my dancing partner, Amy Sanders, attend the event, and donate to this great cause.
