UPDATE: This has been a rough couple of weeks for the entire Covers family. We as a family have made the difficult decision to move Mom into an assisted living home, as of today, Thursday, April 19th. Mom requires full-time care, and this is the best move for her comfort and care. This has been one of the toughest decisions I’ve ever made with my family, and a day I will never forget. We have got to find a cure for Alzheimer’s...

What a thrill it is to be part of the Dancing Stars of Atlanta 2018 season as the first alumni dancer to return as a Star Dancer.  Being a part of the last year’s event was one of the most rewarding, exhilarating, exhausting, exciting and memorable times of my entire life.  I so look forward to picking up where I left off on the dance floor.  One of last year’s judges said to me, “Ken, I think there is a lot more in there,” and I agree with her. I think there is, too…

I am so excited to get back in the dance studio with my dance partner, Morgan Hendrix, and dive back into lessons and rehearsals.  The months of training is the aspect of this whole experience the I enjoy the most.  My goal is to develop and train as a dancer as much as I can between now and show night, so I can give the very best performance possible.

I am incredibly grateful to Morgan and all of her patience.  She has been like a gift from the heavens above to me. I’m forever grateful for having met her and having her in my life.

My motivation for staying closely involved and doing all this, is my Mom, Joan Covers.  Watching her struggle with Alzheimer’s in real time has been such a challenge for the whole family.  The progression over the last 6 months has been a heart breaking experience, something I never expected to see.

In addition, I am 1 of 5 brothers and the thought of one or more of us coming down with this disease is a sobering thought.  So I want to do everything I possibly can do to help find a cure for Alzheimer's.  If my efforts speed up finding a cure by just a few seconds, to me it is all worth it…

I have been at the center of the action in Atlanta’s bustling Intown real estate market as a leading Residential Adviser for the ultra luxury real estate brand, Engel & Volkers Intown brokerage, specializing in the Morningside, Virginia Highland, Ansley Park and other in town neighborhoods.  I am the top producing advisor for the company for the state of Georgia and within the top 20  producing advisors for the company in North America.

Consistently, my yearly numbers rank me right up there at the very top for dollar volume. Often referred to as the Agent’s Agent, I have a keen eye for the details and great instincts. This is what separates me from the pack. Recently named by Real Estate Executive Magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential Real Estate Agents in Georgia for 2017, I have also been Agent of the Year for the last 11 years in a row of his career.

My list of clients include a real Who's Who of Movers and Shakers whom I assist and advise as they purchase and sell some of Intown Atlanta's Very Best & Stylish Homes.

I am also so thankful for everyone who supported me last year, especially my partner, Chip Cheatham.  I was blown away by everyone’s support and the amount of money raised.  I will never forget watching those numbers climb like they did!

I would love to have your support again.  I don’t take your support lightly.  I want to earn it by working as hard as I possibly can and leaving it all out on the dance floor.  Mom, this is for you!!!!
