Frances Washington was a wonderful, loving, mother who always cared for family and strived to help others throughout her lifetime. She bravely fought dementia for eight years until recently when she peacefully was called home to the Kingdom of the Lord.
This is a tribute for all who are battling this disease and for all the caregivers who provide comfort and compassion on a daily basis. Every effort, big or small is needed to improve the quality of life for all.

I didn't know your mother Ken but I wanted to say she raised and caring and kind son in you. My mother died several years ago and one of the causes was from early dementia so I know first hand what your Mom experienced and what you and your family went through to make sure she was comfortable and cared for.
The Lord works in mysterious ways and she is now home with Him smiling down at you. You and your family are in my prayers and please contact me should you need anything.
