On May 22, 2015 Ted E. Rosica passed away at the age of 92 after struggling with Alzheimer’s and other ailments over the past several years. Ted is survived by the love of his life and wife of 44+ years Sherry, his son Jeff, daughter-in-law Terri and granddaughter Sofia which he called his “little sweetheart”. Ted was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed.

Ted was born in New York City in 1923 to James and Josephine Rosica, who both emigrated from Italy. Ted’s family is a tight knit, proud Italian family that included his brother Archie and sister Julie, both of whom are previously deceased. However, Ted leaves behind a large, loving extended family on the east coast who will miss him.

Ted spent 36+ years in the military including several years of active duty service in both the US Navy and US Air Force during WWII, and 31 years of civilian and reserve service in the US Air Force Reserves, which he retired from in 1979. Ted moved to the Roseville/Granite Bay, CA area in 1981 with his family, and became a very successful real estate broker where he achieved life member status of the Masters Club in both Placer and Sacramento counties and was top salesperson in 1983 in Placer County.

Ted was a lifelong Catholic who worshiped at St. Joseph Marello Catholic Church in Granite Bay, CA. He felt blessed by God his whole life, and always lived his life as a terrific example to his family and friends.

The family wishes that anyone who Ted touched during his life in a positive way will make a donation (of any amount) towards the Alzheimer's Association to help towards the cure of this terrible disease Ted was dealing with during his later years.

Thanks in advance for your contribution!

With our love,

Sherry, Jeff, Terri and Sofia Rosica
