Ada Marie York Thompson, 84 years young, was lovingly cared for in the last 15 months of her life at The Heart Remembers in Shelbyville, Tennessee. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She died on May 17, 2009. Her greatest fear in life was getting Alzheimer's. Unfortunately, this fear was realized less than 4 years ago. She was always young at heart, very energetic, and loved life to the fullest.
In her professional career, she was a well respected bank manager for Peoples Bank of Shelbyville.
Her family will miss her terribly. Donations will benefit future research for this debilitating disease.
