Wallace Reed Cochran passed away on January 17, 2012. He was very peaceful, holding his wife's hand and surrounded by many of his family members.

For those who knew him, you already were aware he was an amazing man - father, "PopPop", husband, and friend.

For those who didn't, Wally was a strong man and a hard worker. He loved to golf, and he was a devoted member of the Fawn Grove Church of the Nazarene.

He suffered from Alzheimer's for over a year. Even though his memory was fading, he was still in good spirits and always made jokes. However, his incredibly giving and devoted life was cut short by this terrible disease. Please take time to donate to the Alzheimer's Association in his honor.

He will be truly missed, but we know that he is surrounded by those who passed before him now.

(Plus, he can eat all the dessert he wants at his new home in the sky.)

I miss you Dad. Your laughter, your kindness and your love for God and family. I know you're with God and your family and keeping watch over us. We'll be together some day until then remember how much we love and miss you.

Dad was wonderful, a great person who was always willing to give of himself in labor and in time. He had a great gift of being a friend and loved to laugh. We are going to miss him so much. My heart breaks but I know I will meet him on the other side. He is out of pain and confusion, enjoying the family who has gone on before him. Enjoying the love and joy of Jesus and the angels. God is Good in all situations.
