Betty Wilkins died on Friday December 12 at the age of 88. She suffered from dementia for the last 5+ years of her life. Over time her memory deteriorated leaving her with no short term memory and limited long term memories. It was devastating to all her family members to watch this progress. We hope that research in the area of Alzheimer's Disease will help to find a cure for that horrible disease as well as other forms of dementia.
