My mom is in her 8th year of Alzheimer's. She has fractured both of her hips and forgets that she can not walk by herself and may not remember your name but she knows your voice. She speaks a language of her own. My mom is only 4' 10" but she is a spunky little thing. We are sad about her disease but are very glad that she is still here with us.
