My dad was full of love and compassion, he taught me how to live with faith and love and goodness in my heart. I moved back home to care for him, so I had an extra year of love from this very special man. I miss him terribly. But, I know his mind is free and he is dancing with my mom, his lifelong love. My how blessed I am. God bless them both and thank you for the extra moments with dad.

My great uncle, Al, was a really sweet and funny guy. I remember him and his wife (My great aunt Anne), would always come over to my grandma's house around Christmas time for a visit. He was always telling jokes and making us laugh. He would always give my brother and I a little money( maybe a dollar or two) and a small toy. When my grandma( his sister),passed away, he was the first person I saw and he just gave me the biggest hug. Him and his sister,Frances Elvigan, were very close. And now they are together once again. I miss you, Uncle Al! I miss you Grandma! I will see you both again someday!

Reading the description of your dad brought tears to my eyes. It sounds very much as my dad. I quit my job and have been caring for him, treasuring every minute we spend together. May God comfort you in your loss.
