Our family was lucky that she had about 4 good years after diagnosis where she could take care of herself. She had lost a lot of memory and had trouble with simple tasks. She went very fast when it was time and refused to eat or drink. The last 3 months were very, very sad. It is very depressing know what a spirt she was. I miss her every day. I am sad often but try to remember her the way she was before her illness. I have empathy for anyone going through this with a loved one and I pray I never have to go through it again.

my mother and your sister also has the desease. My aunt is dead, and after that my mother has the desease.
