Woohoo! Welcome to the 2016 Blondes vs Brunettes campaign! As YPalz BVB and Special Events Chair, I am super excited to continue to fight to end Alzheimer's and fundraise with friends, family, teammates, and community members! This has been a special year for YPalz- We kicked off 2016 with a bang, hosting our Inaugural Remember When Soiree, increasing Volunteer Enrollment, adding Happy Hour Meet ups for our Walk to End Alzheimer's team, and planning our Annual BVB Game and Longest Day events! All proceeds benefit the Alzheimer's Association Cleveland Area Chapter in their efforts to provide free care and support programs to families affected by this devastating disease. Funds are also utilized for research efforts, so that some day (soon, I hope) we can eradicate this disease and keep memories alive.
Women are at the epicenter of the Alzheimer’s epidemic. Nearly two-thirds of the Americans living with Alzheimer’s – and more than 60 percent of Alzheimer’s and dementia caregivers – are women. It’s time to take action by taking the field!
Please support my participation in the annual Blondes Vs Brunettes Powder Puff Football game and fundraising competition to help end Alzheimer’s. Whether you're a blonde, brunette, redhead or other, I need your help! We may be opponents on the field, but when it comes to Alzheimer’s, we’re all on the same side. Your donation will advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Thank you for helping us tackle this disease – win or lose, our true goal is a world without Alzheimer’s! I hope to see you all Saturday June 11 for the Ultimate Show Down! I am also hosting the Annual Bottomless Mimosa Brunch on June 5 from 11am-1pm at Spennato's Italian Ristorante 10446 Northfield Rd, Northfield, OH 44067 . To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
