Currently, 5.5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
I've lost 2 grandparents to this disease. My grandpa on my moms side (Presto) was the greatest man I knew. He was hard working, an amazing cook, and loved his family more than anything. My grandma on my dads side (Johnson) was the kindest woman you would ever know. She too was hard working, cared for others, and loved her family very much. I miss them both and that’s why I’m helping again this year as a coach of team Brunette in the Alzheimer's Association - RivALZ® flag footbal game.
RivALZ is a nationwide women’s flag-football league created to raise awareness and advance the cure. Both teams are training hard and preparing for game day. Win or lose, our true goal is a world without Alzheimer’s.
I need your support to do my part. Please help me by making a donation to help advance research and ultimately find a cure for Alzheimer’s.
Thank you in advance for your generosity – together, we can tackle Alzheimer’s disease!
