Mead and Gudrun are back this summer to fight Alzheimer's disease, this time as RivALZ alumni. We are a former coach and player, this year opting to become Ralliers.
RivALZ is a nationwide women’s flag-football league created to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. The Alzheimer's Association is an organization dedicated to the advancement of research to discover methods of prevention, treatment, and ultimately a cure for Alzheimer’s. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support, and resources in communities nationwide.
Team Blonde will be working diligently this summer to raise funds to fight Alzheimer's. The ladies are doing an amazing job, and we can only hope to keep pace. Please make a donation and help the cause! Also, don't forget to come cheer us on in the game on September 23.
Alzheimer’s disease is the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death. An estimated 5.4 million Americans are living with the disease and nearly 16 million are acting as caregivers. It’s time to take action and change the course of this epidemic.
Thank you for your generosity – together, we can tackle Alzheimer’s disease.
