ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE HAS NO SURVIVORS...YET
On November 14, 2016 Alzheimer's took the life of Marc's dad, Terry.
I thought I would feel prepared, relieved he was no longer suffering; after all the real Terry had slipped away long ago. Instead, I simply felt brokenhearted - a deep, heavy sadness for four sons who no longer have a father, a productive mind confiscated, the unfairness of a disease with no cure.
Let's work toward the day we can rejoice in the first Alzheimer's survivor! I think Terry, a life long athlete and lover of sports, would delight in taking it to the field to fight back through RivALZ Twin Cities.
We are humbled by your past and continued support! Through your generosity, in four short seasons we have raised over $700,000 to help tackle Alzheimer's!
This year's Game Day event takes place on September 23 - we'd love to see you there! Please consider a donation toward our family goal of $2,000!
All the funds raised for this event stay with the local Alzheimer's Association Minnesota-North Dakota chapter.
Thank you in advance for your generosity – together we can tackle Alzheimer’s disease!
