Support your favorite Blonde or Brunette
Welcome to Alzheimer’s Association’s Blondes vs. Brunettes®, where two teams of women - divided to reflect the age-old rivalry between blondes and brunettes - compete in a flag football game to help raise awareness and funds in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
Our passion and hard work will take us from practice to the playing field, but our success will rely upon the support of our friends and families and upon all of those willing to donate to this important cause. Together, we can tackle Alzheimer’s!
Looking to get involved? We need dedicated players, but we also need coaches and volunteers. Players, Volunteers and Coaches agree to raise a minimum of $250 and raise awareness for Alzheimer's and dementia.
Follow these simple steps to join your team:
Want to see the game for yourself? Tickets are available for purchase for $10 from any player, coach or the Alzheimer's Association office for your admission to the game!
What happens game day? Gates open at 1:15 pm and the game starts at 2:00 pm. Support your favorite team by sporting their colors (Brunettes: Purple; Blondes: Silver/White) in support. Make signs, bring bells or noise makers and get ready to cheer your team on to victory! Family friendly/children's activities, special guests and more will occur prior to and during the game. Bring a donation and purchase Raffle Tickets for great items in support of the cause! Local community information will also be available from our sponsors and supporters.
Where do we enter and park? Entrance and parking can be found in the area of the main gate near the ballfields.
Are pets welcome? We are sorry, but due to RecPlex policy, four-legged mascots will have to root for their favorites from the comfort of the couch.
