Women are at the epicenter of the Alzheimer’s epidemic. Nearly two-thirds of the Americans living with Alzheimer’s – and more than 60 percent of Alzheimer’s and dementia caregivers – are women. I am committed to do what I can to find a cure in honor of both my mom who is living with this disease and for my daughter, in the hopes to protect her from going through what our family has.
I was just in my early 20s when my amazing mother was diagnosed with this tragic disease and from the year she was diagnosed, I have fund raised each and every year. At this point, thanks to amazing people like yourself, our family as raised over $30,000 over the years for Alzheimers and we won't stop until a cure is found!
Please support my participation in the 2nd Annual Blonds vs Brunettes, a flag football game and fundraising competition to help end Alzheimer’s. We may be opponents on the field, but when it comes to Alzheimer’s, we’re all on the same side. This is a disease that must be defeated and we need your help to do it. Your donation will advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Thank you for helping us tackle this disease – win or lose, our true goal is a world without Alzheimer’s!
Please feel free to come out to this family friendly event...it will be held Saturday, November 5th at the Historic Fourth Ward multi-purpose field.
To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
