She traveled the world, Asia, Africa, Europe. She raced cars in a Jaguar Club back when having women in a car club would raise more than one eyebrow and be proud to drive her Brittish Racing Green 1964 Jaguar XKE convertible all over Harlem. She even owned an exotic pet (a Japanese Snow Monkey named Misty). Not only was she special, but she was a Mom to my friends and teammates. When I played at Penn State, she knew all the players (teammates) and would love when they came up to visit to NYC. She loved sports Baseball and Penn State football were her favorite or wherever I coached. She was a lover of R&B music and Smooth Jazz Jason and I still remember her listening to Earl Klugh. She enjoyed food, and her Louisiana roots were in everything she cooked. She always knew the latest craze and workout gear. She loved to laugh and dance and would crack Jason and I up.
