Dave Egan's "Jackie's Riders" Fundraising Page
Defeating Alzheimer's disease is a very personal effort for our family. Our team's namesake, my mom Jackie, we lost to early onset Alzheimer's -- she was only 62! Alzheimer's took Joan's dad, Bill, as well. Sadly, there are lots of other families impacted by this disease -- maybe yours, too?
Today, more than 5 million Americans struggle with Alzheimer's disease - and millions more family members and caregivers are affected as well. Without some major strides forward, as many as 16 million Americans could be Alzheimer's victims by 2050. If, like me, you're planning to live to a ripe old age, then you have to share the same concern that our future health and well-being - and that of our families - is at risk. We must fight together to change the course of this terrible disease.
I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®. And I need your help!
All donations benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
Please give - it'll make you feel good, I promise! Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s disease!
